Yes, you can target accounts based on specific geography using several different methods within the Plan section of the Marketing Platform module.
1. Hospital Account Location Filters
When creating a target list using the Hospital Accounts tab, you can filter results based on two primary location parameters:
- States: You can choose to Include or Exclude specific states from your target group.
- Postal/ZIP Code: You can identify hospitals by entering specific codes for inclusion or exclusion. The platform also allows you to upload these codes using a CSV template.

2. Intent Accounts’ Geography
If you are utilizing the Intent Accounts tab to find organizations showing interest in specific healthcare topics, you can use the Company Location filter. Similar to hospital filtering, this allows you to include or exclude intent accounts based on their selected geographic location.

3. Dedicated Location Targeting Tab
Once you have selected your accounts (Hospital, Intent, or Custom), the platform provides a specific Location Targeting tab to further refine your reach. You must activate the Enable Location Targeting toggle to access these two levels of control:
- Campaign Level: This is the default setting that allows you to include or exclude entire states for the whole target list.
Location Targeting Options
- Account Level: This allows for more granular control by searching for a specific account and then selecting exactly which of its locations to include or exclude from your list.

4. Geographic Targeting for Uploaded Lists
If you choose to upload a custom list of accounts from your own system rather than using the platform's database, you can still enable these same location targeting features. During the upload process, the platform provides an Account Targeting tab where you can apply both Campaign Level and Account Level geographic restrictions.
