When creating a target group on the Doceree platform that includes multiple medical specialties, you can accomplish this through the Demographics tab, the Keyword tab, or by uploading a custom list.
1. Using the Demographics Tab
The most direct way to include multiple specialties is through the Demographics segment during the HCP target list creation process.
- Multi-Selection: From the Specialization drop-down list, you can select one, multiple, or all available medical specialization options to associate with your HCP based target group.
- Inclusion Logic: By default, the first drop-down for this field is set to Include, ensuring all selected specialties are added to the audience.

2. Using the Keyword Tab
If you want to target based on clinical terminology associated with specific specialties, the Keyword tab offers several multi-specialty features:
- Specialty-Based Recommendations: You can select a specialty area from the Select therapy area for keyword recommendation drop-down to view associated terms. You can search for and select one or more specialty/therapy areas to generate these recommendations.
- Custom Keywords: When adding custom keywords not currently in the database, you can use the Add Custom Keyword pop-up to map specific keywords to selected specializations. You can add new rows to associate different keywords with different additional specializations simultaneously.

3. Uploading Specialty Data
If you have an existing list of HCPs with their respective specialties, you can use the upload feature:
- HCP List Template: When selecting the Upload List option for HCPs, you download a CSV template that includes a dedicated Specialty column. You can list the specific specialty for each HCP in your file before uploading it to the platform.
- Keyword Upload: Similarly, you can upload a keyword list via CSV that includes terms relevant to multiple specialty areas.

Analytics within the Measure section consistently utilize a Specialization section to provide a detailed, specialization-wise bifurcation of targeted Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across various messaging types.
Specialization Data by Messaging Type
The depth of specialty-related analytics depends on the selected Message Type:
- Display Messaging (Audience Sub-tab): Within the Executive Summary tab, the platform provides a graph representing the specialization-wise bifurcation of all targeted HCPs. You can analyze this multispecialty data by sorting the results displayed by Impressions, Reach, CPM, CTR, Spends, and Clicks.

- Prescription Analytics: For audience-targeted display campaigns, the Prescription tab offers specialized clinical insights. This section represents an analysis of campaign performance among prescribers based on their medical specialization, allowing you to sort data specifically by NRx (New Prescriptions) and TRx (Total Prescriptions).

- Content Messaging: For content-based initiatives, the specialization section depicts the performance of key metrics (Impressions, Reach, CPM, etc.) across different medical specializations to see which therapeutic areas are engaging most with the articles.
- Other Channels (Email): This provides a specialization-wise bifurcation of the HCPs targeted for email campaigns, helping to identify which specialties are receiving the most distributions.
- NEXT Sequences: For automated, multi-channel journeys, the specialization analytics are expanded to include email-specific interaction metrics. You can sort specialization data by Email Delivered and Email Opened in addition to standard media metrics like Impressions and Clicks.
Sub-Campaign Specific Analysis
When you use the Campaign and Sub-Campaign selectors to drill down into a specific initiative, the platform provides a tailored Specialization graph within that sub-campaign's Executive Summary tab. This view maintains the ability to sort by six core performance parameters—Impressions, Reach, CPM, CTR, Spends, and Clicks—ensuring you can measure the specific impact of a sub-campaign on a per-specialty basis.
Global Tools for Specialty Data
Regardless of the messaging type, you can enhance your analysis of multispecialty data using the Flyout Menu:
- Tabular Format: You can use the Table option to add a layer to the specialization graphs, viewing the exact numerical data for each specialty in a list format.
- Date Filtering: Specialty performance can be analyzed over specific timeframes by specifying a Start and End Date.
- Exporting: All specialization-wise analytics can be exported as a Campaign Analytics Report in PDF or Excel format for further offline analysis.
