Frequency capping (referred to as Frequency in the platform's settings) is an optimization feature used to enhance your ad strategy by limiting the number of times a specific user encounters your ads. By setting these limits, you can manage the exposure of your message to ensure it remains effective without becoming repetitive.
Available Frequency Options
When setting up a campaign in the Operational Detail tab, you can choose from several duration-based capping options:
- Frequency Per User Per Day: Limits impressions for a single user within a 24-hour period.
- Frequency Per User Per Week: Limits impressions for a user over seven days.
- Frequency Per User Per Month: Limits impressions for a user over a calendar month.
- Frequency Per User Campaign Lifetime: Sets a hard limit on the total number of times a single user will see the ad for the entire duration of the campaign.
